I am a licensed clinical social worker having completed a Bachelors of Social Work degree (BSW) and Masters of Social Work degree (MSW). During my 15 years of practice, I have had the opportunity to work with many individuals including children, youth, adults and families. I believe in the importance of developing a strong therapeutic relationship. I practice from a client-centered approach, recognizing that everyone’s needs are unique. I work together with clients to determine what approach best suits their needs. We work together to identify any challenges and to identify goals which will allow clients to make positive change. I am extremely grateful for my experiences to date which have led me to working alongside individuals and families during difficult times in their lives. Much of my learning has occurred through these direct practices and I recognize the need for individuals to have access to support. My practice areas include; grief and loss, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, coping in crisis, family conflict, traumatic experiences and navigating life changes. I believe that individuals have many strengths and bring much knowledge to the table. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients. Through the use of clinical skills I aim to assist individuals and families with building coping skills and foster personal growth. Please reach out if you are interested in working with me.
