Primary Care/Family Practice Concerns

Nurse Practitioners and Medical Doctors can:
- Order blood work, X-Rays and other tests
- Diagnose illnesses
- Prescribe Medications and other treatments
- Order referrals to specialists
- Preventative care and checkups
- Perform minor procedures like skin tag removal, ear syringing
-Routine screenings such as Pap smears


Counselling / Mental Health

Offering counseling services to children, adolescents and adults in the area of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, coping with change, stress management and other mental health related issues.


Blood Work

Collection of blood and urine for laboratory testing - requires an order by a Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor. Please bring a physical copy of your requisition with you or email it to us in advance of your appointment.


Tuberculin Testing

A tuberculin test will determine if tuberculosis bacteria are present in your body. It is not a vaccine against tuberculosis.

48-72 hours following injection of a harmless liquid called tuberculin just under your skin, our nurse will inspect the test spot to determine results.


Travel Consult

As international travel increases so do the health risks. We provide medical consults to individuals, families and groups prior to travel. Whether you’re a vacationer, business traveler, adventurer, or relief worker our goal is to keep you informed, protected and safe.


Vaccinations

Administration of a vaccine by a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. We stock many vaccines recommended for travel such as Twinrix, Dukoral, etc. as well as standard vaccines like Adacel (for tetanus). If you are traveling and are unsure of what vaccinations are recommended, please book a travel consult.

Fit Testing

A fit test is a test protocol conducted to verify that a respirator is both comfortable and provides the wearer with the expected protection. Fit testing uses a test agent, either qualitatively detected by the wearer’s sense of taste, smell, or involuntary cough (irritant smoke) or quantitatively measured by an instrument, to verify the respirator’s fit.
